In which cases is my reputation affected?

If you do not set up a local return address, Mercado Libre won’t be able to provide you with a shipping label and the case will advance to direct mediation, increasing the likelihood of affecting your reputation.

You can choose to issue a direct refund to the buyer and not receive your product back. This way you avoid complaints and mediations that may negatively affect your reputation. 

Keep in mind…

Despite not having a local return address, you can still make a direct refund to the buyer. Simply locate the order, click on View complaint, scroll to the bottom and click on Refund the money. By doing so, you’ll avoid mediations that may affect negatively your reputation.
