Types of boxes and how to send them to the warehouse
When sending your products in boxes, keep in mind that there are two types of boxes for sending them:
-
Master box
-
Standard box
How to send a master box
This is the box which comes from the factory and contains units of the same product.
Follow these instructions to correctly send it:
-
Attach the Mercado Libre volume label so that we will know if we can open the box to put each unit up for sale.
-
Make sure that when you attach the volume label you do not cover the following information: barcode, weight and quantity of products it contains.
-
If the box has labels from other shipments, cover them so they will not confuse us when scanning our labels.
-
If you are sending a master box to be sold as a unit, attach the product label next to the volume label. This way we will recognize it as a sales unit and will not open it.
When sending a master box, you do not need to label the products in it, which allows you to save time during the shipment preparation. In addition, it is important that you send it closed as it arrives from the factory, if you open it, it will no longer be a master box and you will need to label each product and then group them in volumes.
How to send a standard box
A standard box is the one you create by grouping the same or different products.
Follow these instructions to correctly send it:
-
Group the products correctly identified in the standard box and attach the volume label.
-
Avoid using recycled boxes. If you use them, make sure they do not have any wording or codes that could confuse us when scanning the label.
-
If you send kits or large products in their original packaging, attach our product label next to the volume label so that we recognize them as a selling unit.
Keep in mind that we will only receive at Full those volumes that arrive correctly prepared and identified with our labels.
