Content requirements for Mercado Libre Clips

All the content you upload to Clips in Mercado Libre must comply with the Terms and Conditions and to the following content requirements.

Prices and promotions

Your video can’t contain information about: prices, promotions, discounts, or shopping conditions.
Organizing or suggesting contests, raffles or prizes is prohibited in these videos.
Don’t upload advertising videos, ads or commercials.

If you are giving a personal opinion, you have to state it clearly.
Do not make reference to political issues.
If the video is sponsored by a brand: indicate it clearly by including the phrase "Content in collaboration with [brand name]”; or “#SponsoredContent”, or similar, in a visible place, or in any other way that makes it clear that the message is based on a commercial relationship with a brand or third party. In no case must you state that a content is sponsored if it isn’t or refer in any way to other people without their authorization.
If the product had warnings or contraindications in its package, you have to include the phrase “Read warnings on the package of the product or the user’s manual before using it”.
Where applicable, statements about a product or service must be appropriate and in accordance with the instruction/user manual for each product or service.
You have to comply with the Advertising and marketing regulations applicable to the products and/or services you show in your videos. Some examples are:

Alcoholic beverages: the phrase “The sale of alcoholic beverages to minors is prohibited. Excessive alcohol consumption is detrimental to health” must be included, or the warning that the applicable legislation establishes.
Dietary supplements: the phrase “Supplements insufficient diets. Consult your doctor and/or pharmacist”. You can include the phrase “Helps to prevent (...)” or “Helps to protect (...)” if those phrases are beneficial in the event of conditions related to nutrient deficiencies.

Statements referring to the product or service must not:

Include messages like: "approved or recommended by experts", "demonstrated in clinical trials" or similar unless there are scientific studies in reputable research or evaluation institutions.
Attribute therapeutic actions and/or properties to the product.
Claiming that the product may provide miraculous solutions without these effects having been endorsed in the product's sanitary registration, resulting in misleading and/or putting human health at risk. Some common examples: weight loss, hair growth or increased sexual desire.
Referring to products as "natural" when they are semi-synthetic or formulated in conjunction with synthetic components.
To state or indicate that a product has an attribute or comparative characteristic superior to another, or that the product is the only possible alternative within the category, expressing for I example: "the most chosen", "the only", "the most recommended", "the best", unless it was supported by reliable and verifiable details.

Any comparison of one product and/or service with another must be substantiated, based on objective criteria and in accordance with the applicable regulations.
You must refrain from making comparisons between products and/or services that have a defamatory connotation.
Any statement related to the price of a product must be substantiated, appropriate and in accordance with the applicable regulations. You must refrain from exaggerating any price or discount and from making inappropriate, unsubstantiated or misleading price comparisons.

The products and/or services you showcase in the videos must be available for sale on each site.
It is forbidden to exhibit or promote violence.
It is forbidden to exhibit products and/or services included in the adult category and products included in the Prohibited Products Policy which you hereby declare to know and accept as part of Mercado Libre Clips.

Videos may not contain links to other websites, URLs or redirect users to other websites or to your own social networks.
It is forbidden to include personal details in the videos.

The videos you submit must not include third party intellectual property (such as copyrighted material), unless you have permission from the owner or are legally authorized to use such content for other reasons.
In particular, if the videos include music, you must ensure that you have the necessary rights and authorizations for the synchronization and use of works, videograms and/or phonograms with the respective rights holders and/or collecting societies.
Please note that using copyrighted works often requires royalties to be paid to right holders and collecting societies. If you use music without the respective authorizations or licenses, your content may be reported and removed.

Videos and content must always be directed to an adult audience, without exception. No minors may participate in the videos.
