Products & Trucks Reception Conditions

At Mercado Libre, we aim to ensure that products reach buyers in perfect condition. To achieve this standard of excellence, it's important to apply certain criteria in logistics and goods reception. Below, you'll find the essential guidelines that will help us maintain and strengthen the quality of our service:

1. What conditions must the truck transporting the merchandise meet?

2. How should products be palletized inside the truck?

• Palletization should ensure product integrity.
• Pallets must not be stacked on top of each other.
• The maximum height of a pallet, including the platform, is 1.80 meters, applicable for bulk shipments too. (For Mexico, it can be up to 2.20 meters for Multi warehouse pallets).

3. What are the primary packaging conditions of the product upon receipt?

• They must not present tears, perforations or damages in their corners.
• They must be free of pests and without traces of humidity or liquids.
• Packages (boxes) must be identified with Box ID (SI number).
• The load on the pallet must be balanced.

4. What are the conditions for receiving High-Value products?

• It is essential to have an intact security seal or shrink wrap.
• Manufacturer details, such as the IMEI or serial number (applicable only to cell phones, Notebooks and tablets), must be legible.
• Packaging should be complete and undamaged.
• SKU labels should not cover important product information.
