How does the Automatic Refunds work?
Resolve order issues promptly and effectively with our automatic refund tool. This process enables you to offer specific refunds to compensate buyers for any purchase-related issues, safeguarding your reputation from product complaints.
How does it help my business?
This feature relieves you from the task of individually responding to complaints related to your product, allowing you to experience benefits such as:
- Saving time, allowing you to stay focused on your business goals.
- Reduce your queue of complaints and effort in resolving them.
- Keep your account's reputation intact.
How to set up an automatic refund?
By setting up rules for your products, we can automatically process any future complaints and offer refunds based on those rules you create.
Follow these steps to create your first rule:
- Go to “Settings” and select “Selling preferences”
- Scroll down and select Automatic refunds.
- Click "add rule" to find the form you need to fill out.
- Enter prices and refund percentages for each rule.
- Select your preferred logistics and customize the reasons for complaints as needed.
- Save changes to update automatic refund settings.
When a buyer reports an issue, the predefined offer will be automatically applied, enabling you to save time that was previously spent on addressing individual complaint resolutions.
For example, you can set a range for products priced between $10-$50, and offer a refund of 30%.
This way, we ensure buyer satisfaction and maintain trust in your product/account. In some cases, buyers will accept the refund amount and the issue will be resolved. However, if the buyer doesn't agree with the refund amount, they can always open a complaint and contact you for further assistance, and you could resolve it with them.
Our Automatic Refund tool is a time-saving solution that allows you to maximize your business potential while we handle complaints for you.
Please note that, at present, automatic refunds are available on all sites except for Argentina, and the existing or new rules will not apply to that country.
