What should I do if my catalog listing was reported?

As part of the Brand Protection Program, the holders of the rights can report listings they believe are infringing their intellectual property.

Check the steps to file a report to know what you have to do and what to expect in each part of the process.

1. The holder of the rights files the report

Once you receive it, we’ll let you know by email that your listing was paused, and you’ll find it as “Inactive due to report” in the Listings menu.

Make sure to answer on time. If your listing receives a report and you don’t answer it within four days, it will be automatically shut down.

2. Submit your answer

To answer, you may send documentation that proves that you are not infringing rights. For example, purchase invoices proving that the product is original, or authorization from the rights holder to offer their products.

If you received a complaint about the images in your listing, you will also have the option to fix them and send them as an answer to the holder of the rights.

3. The holder of the rights checks your answer

They will have four days to check what you answered and get back to you.

If they accept your answer or don’t reply in four days, your listing will be reactivated.

If they don’t accept the answer or you don’t submit it on time,  your listing will be permanently removed from the website.

Please keep in mind that the infringement of our intellectual property policies may cause a partial, temporary or permanent suspension to sell on the website.
