Understanding the Shipping Costs Automation

The Shipping Costs Automation will give you the chance to optimize the price of your existing listings by reflecting the variations in the shipping cost. Basically by activating it you’ll agree to allow MercadoLibre to update the listing price and boost competitiveness by maintaining the same earnings per product. 

Here you’ll learn how to navigate through the tool in order to fully understand it:  


On your Selling Preferences in Global Selling you’ll find the setting adjustment to activate it

Once you’re in settings you’ll find all the information you need in regards of the campaign that is currently active: 

A - Name of the current campaign that is available 
B - Details of the pricing campaign and sites impacted 
C - Button to activate the automation 

When you enable the campaign, its status will change during the process: 

Once the automation is complete you’ll be notified in your Selling Preferences, and the list of changes can be downloaded for you to review: 

Each site will have a pricing report according to the changes made for the listings. This will download an excel file to your computer where you will find the new selling price for each item in your listing (D), along with the base price difference (F).

Remember you will be able to see the updates applied to your selling prices, after the new pricing has been implemented on June 27th and on.
