What happens if I cannot reach an agreement with the buyer?

If you cannot reach an agreement with the buyer, follow these steps to contact Mercado Libre:

1. On the main menu click on Orders.
2. Locate the order with a complaint and click on View complaint.
3. Click on Write to Mercadolibre.
   
   
   
   
4. Here you can write to our representative and explain the reason why you consider an intervention is necessary, in order to reach a resolution.
   
   
   
   
5. You can always come back to the detail of the complaint to review the responses of our representative.

 

Keep in mind…

During the mediation process, you won’t be able to contact the buyer.

At the end of the mediation, Mercado Libre’s representative will decide the best resolution for the case. Bear in mind, your reputation may be affected depending on the reason of the final complaint.
