Products that depend on homologation/approval from governmental agencies

It is prohibited to list and/or request: 

  • Products that are not homologated, approved or registered by the corresponding national agencies, e.g.: ANVISA, ANATEL, INMETROMAPA or ANS, among others.
  • Products reported by the competent authority and/or removed from the market by the manufacturer because they pose risks to consumers' health and/or integrity.
  • Products regulated by INMETRO that are not certified by the agency or whose listing does not show the information on the INMETRO seal.
  • Food supplements whose composition, product label or listing description does not comply with ANVISA rules.
  • Electric products (e.g.: thermo tanks, electric heaters, air conditioners, refrigerators and freezers, fluorescent lamps etc.) that do not have the energy efficiency label authorized by INMETRO.
  • Telecommunication products (e.g. cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, drones, remote controls) that do not have an ANATEL approval number.
  • Content* that expressly promotes the examples mentioned above.

 What is allowed to list?

The products mentioned here are only examples.

  • Products homologated, approved or registered by the corresponding governmental agencies.
  • Telecommunication products that have been approved by ANATEL.

  • Registration with ANVISA is mandatory, and ANVISA must have been previously notified of the beginning of manufacturing or importation.

Cosmetics, Hygiene, Perfume and Sanitizing products

  • Registration or notification with ANVISA is mandatory.

  • Registration or notification with ANVISA is mandatory.
It is prohibited to list medicine.
Medicine subject to special control
  • Registration or notification with ANVISA is mandatory.

  • The legislation prohibits commercializing this type of product on the internet.
