Infringements in photos

Photos or images used in your listings must:

• Match the listed article. Do not use reference photos that may mislead or confuse potential buyers.
• Comply with the clauses stated in our Terms and Conditions.
  
  

We do not allow:

• Listings with attributes usually assigned by Mercado Libre that may mislead users (e.g. Full, Most sold, etc).
• Using photos with under-aged in underwear.
• Altered images to hide the brand of the product you offer.
• Having seller logos, texts, watermarks or similar attributes.
• Include images with explicit sexual content, nudity or that exhibit intimate parts of the body in either overt or blurred form. Learn more about our Products for Adults rules.
• Include comparative images of supposedly promising effects ("before and after") that are not adequately supported and may lead to misleading advertising.

 

Cover photos in listings must:

• Only show the article.
• Be in high resolution.
• Have a pure white background created digitally with a photo editor.
  
  

Listings with images that —according to Mercado Libre— are sensual or that may be considered contrary to moral or good customs, will not be allowed on the Main Page.

Likewise, Mercado Libre reserves the right to select the best quality photo or image from the listings, so that it appears on the Main Page.
